Zombie Walk 2009

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the Spooky Empire Screamfest (Horror and Tattoo Convention). The first event of the weekend (and thus the first group of pictures I am posting for you beautiful people) was the Orlando Zombie Walk. Held at Friday's on International Drive, the Zombie Walk brought out some of Orlando's scariest ghouls and goblins. Each participant was dressed to impress and scare and many came out with friends in matching costume. For the slackers who didn't have a make-up case of horrors at home or time to plan out a unique costume there was a team of professional make-up artists working their butts off to make sure each happy customer was zombified! Once everyone was dressed in their zombie best, guests were able to enjoy a brain eating contest, a re-enactment of the famous Michael Jackson Thriller video (with a special appearance by Director John Landis) and plenty of photo ops! Plus let's not forget Friday's yummy treats and tasty $3 drink specials for it's living dead guests, including Bloody Marys and Zombie Punch! Finally at 5 P.M. Friday afternoon a herd of hundreds of decorated zombies, led by the original zombie Bill Hinzman himself, closed down International Drive and walked...uh dragged...to the Wyndham resort to begin a weekend of Spooky fun!

And now some shots of the Orlando Zombie Walk 2009 (click to enlarge)!
